Throughout these Terms and Conditions, the terms "Mélusine", "we", "our", and "us" refer to CORONENSIS DESIGN SRL.

By accessing this website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. ELIGIBILITY

To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

You agree that all information provided during the ordering process is accurate and complete.

3. PRODUCTS

Mélusine specializes in freshwater pearl jewelry and accessories.

As pearls are natural products, slight variations in shape, color, size, texture, and luster are normal and should not be considered defects.

Product images are provided for illustrative purposes. Actual products may vary slightly due to natural characteristics and screen display settings.

4. PRICES

All prices displayed on the website include VAT where applicable under European Union regulations.

Shipping costs are displayed during checkout before payment is completed.

For orders delivered outside the European Union, local customs duties, import taxes, and fees may apply and remain the responsibility of the customer.

5. ORDERS

Once an order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email.

The sales contract is concluded only when the order has been accepted and dispatched by Mélusine.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:

• Product information contains errors;
• Payment cannot be processed;
• Fraudulent activity is suspected;
• The product is unavailable.

If payment has already been made, a full refund will be issued.

6. PAYMENT

Payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments and/or other authorized payment providers available at checkout.

Mélusine does not store customers' payment card details.

7. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We ship to countries within the European Union and selected international destinations.

Estimated delivery times are provided for informational purposes only and are not guaranteed.

Mélusine is not responsible for delays caused by:

• Customs authorities;
• Courier services;
• Force majeure events;
• Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer.

Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon delivery.

8. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (EU CONSUMERS)

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without providing a reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after you receive the goods.

You must return the products within 14 days of notifying us.

Returned products must be:

• Unworn;
• Undamaged;
• Returned in their original packaging;
• Accompanied by any gifts or accessories included with the order.

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Refunds will be issued within 14 days after we receive the returned products or proof of shipment.

9. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Personalized or custom-made jewelry;
• Products made according to customer specifications;
• Sealed products that have been opened and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons where applicable;
• Digital products already supplied.

10. LEGAL WARRANTY

Consumers within the European Union benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity provided by applicable consumer protection laws.

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear;
• Accidental damage;
• Improper use or storage;
• Damage caused by chemicals, perfumes, cosmetics, water exposure, or improper care.

Customers should follow the jewelry care instructions provided by Mélusine.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website, including but not limited to:

• Logos;
• Photographs;
• Product images;
• Text;
• Designs;
• Graphics;

is the exclusive property of Mélusine or its licensors.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

12. USER CONTENT

If customers submit reviews, comments, photographs, or other content, they grant Mélusine a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and publish such content for marketing and promotional purposes.

We reserve the right to remove content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading, or inappropriate.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mélusine shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages;
• Loss of profits;
• Loss of business opportunities;
• Delays beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

14. PRIVACY

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

15. FORCE MAJEURE

Mélusine shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform obligations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, governmental actions, or interruptions in transportation services.

16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Romanian law.

However, if you are a consumer residing in another European Union Member State, you continue to benefit from any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in your country of residence.

Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Romania unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection legislation.
